The Swap & Sell market is a second hand market, where vendors set-up a sales stand selling a range of second-hand goods. History

The site of the markets at Flemington was originally a land grant of 200 acre (0.809372 km²) to John Fleming in 1806. The bush was turned into paddocks and later was the site of a cattle saleyard. In the early 1970s, the Sydney Markets were built at Flemington to relieve the Paddy's Markets at Haymarket
