The first volume was published in 1898 and as of 2008 work has progressed to words beginning with the letter "T", and words from A to TYNA are available in the online version of the dictionary. The dictionary has approximately 450,000 main entries, and is expected to be complete around 2017. A searchable web version has been available since 1997.
