Super Mal are electro house producers and DJs from London

. Formed in 2006 by Bandito Records owners Lyndon Coyne and James Crompton, who joined forces with producer/engineer James Reynolds to make their first record. Super Mal take their influence from old skool house, hip hop
, rock and electro. Their artist name was inspired by the French cult film La Haine
, referencing the expression “super cool”, but with a twist.
DJ Magazine described Super Mal as sounding "like the early street sounds electro — soul and funk inspired but done with synthesisers. Coming back 20 odd years later, with the production values to make them sound really tight!”
The first release on Bandito Records was “Bigger Bigger”, a piece of Electro pop snapped up by the Eye Industries label and given the major label treatment. It was called Bigger Than Big
and released with a pop vocal from Luciana. The record made the UK top 20, helped by a video filmed by Mike Baldwin (Red Rabbit productions) in down town Los Angeles
