Political career

The young Revilla was exposed into politics at the age of 25, of which he was first elected as councilor of Bacoor for one term in 1995 and even became its number one councilor in terms of the number of votes garnered. In 1998 he was later elected as a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Cavite (Provincial Board Member) of which he would serve two terms until he declined re-election in 2004.
