 are investigating the brutal murder of a corrections officer.

The key witness to exposing the ring is a prison nurse, who happens to be dating Detective Mike Logan. Since Goren and Eames are unable to get help from the woman, Logan is assigned by Captain Deakins

Ultimately, Goren, Logan and his girlfriend must jeopardize their lives inside the foreboding walls of the prison.
