The station is a short distance from the Stones Corner dining and retail precinct. Buses connect to Buranda busway station and the South East Busway by traveling over Norman Creek

Development

Construction of the Buranda to Mains Avenue section of the Eastern Busway commenced in April 2009 and opened on 29 August 2011, at least 3 months ahead of the original construction schedule.
