Stephanos Sahlikis or Sachlikis (Στέφανος Σαχλίκης), (1330 - after 1391) was a Cretan

, and are the first certain instance of rhyme used in Greek. He spend his money and did time in jail, but he always kept writing poems, in very explicit language, satirizing the ethics of his time, having first hand experience.
