Stefan Goldmann is a German-Bulgarian DJ and Record producer
of electronic music. He has released numerous records through the labels Perlon
, Innervisions, Cocoon Recordings
and others. Since 2007 he runs his own imprint, Macro
, and holds a residency at Berlin's Panorama Bar club. Many of his works are of conceptual or experimental character, such as his remixes of Igor Stravinsky
and Christian Fennesz
or format-exploring work for double vinyl (The Grand Hemiola - using locked grooves in different rotation speeds to create polyrhythms) or audio cassette (Haven't I Seen You Before - which consists of pieces split in two parts on adjacent sides of the tape for "infinite" listening with the auto reverse mechanism). In 2010 he collaborated with choreographer Kevin O'day on a ballet commissioned by Nationaltheater Mannheim
