Stealth wallpaper has been developed by UK defence contractor BAE Systems
to prevent electronic eavesdropping on Wi-Fi
and local area network
(LAN) systems, although this product is not yet commercially available.
It controls the transmission of radio frequency
(RF) signals and provides a safer wireless LAN
(WLAN) as an active frequency selective surface
(AFSS).
The panels are 50 to 100 micrometres thick and are made in the same way as printed circuit board
