Citing that he missed the game, after sitting out, Jackson tried out, and made the Mayhem squad. He was also part owner in the low budget league. He went on to have 3 successful seasons with the Mayhem, guiding them to 6-6, 7-5, and 9-3 records. He owns two CIFL records, Passing competitions in a season (177) and passing attempts in a season (348).
