 and has, at present, 414 pupils enrolled. The school opened when Nazareth Lodge Primary School and Nazareth House Primary School, both on the Ravenhill Road were closed and combined as St Michael's Primary School in a purpose built campus which included the classrooms previously used by the Nazareth Lodge Primary School. The Principal of the School when it opened was Sr Francis. The Deputy Principal was Mr Oliver McLarnon. Sr Francis was succeeded by Sr Vincent within a few years of the school opening.

The school consists of 14 classrooms, a canteen, an assembly hall, an office and a number of extra rooms used for special needs, offices and various other activities. The grounds consists of a small woodland, a grass area, tennis court
