Spice Times

Spice Times is a quarterly business to business magazine that is distributed to South Asian restaurants across the UK. The magazine published its first issue in 2006 with news and features that are pertinent to the restaurant trade.

Regular features

Spice Times features a news section that has a stories ranging from product news to restaurant news including openings and celebrity appearances.

The South Asian and the World section includes the latest Bollywood news and trade news from the sub-continent.

Health issues are talked about in the Doctor Doctor section and usually focuses on a single health disease. Diabetes and heart disease have been past features.

Other non-regular features have been interviews with chefs and cricket stars such as Graeme Swann

Spice Times Restaurant Awards

In the summer of 2010, Spice Times launched the Spice Times Restaurant Awards. It is the first publicly voted South Asian restaurant awards and the public can vote for their favourite restaurant online using the website.

The Viceroy in Carlisle also won the best North West region award.
