, the village has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km²), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.6 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square mile (0.1035995244 km²) of it (2.14%) is water.

There were 1,413 households out of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.0% were married couples
living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.1% were non-families. 24.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 2.97.
In the village the population was spread out with 24.4% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 28.5% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 91.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.9 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $56,850, and the median income for a family was $62,326. Males had a median income of $44,167 versus $29,722 for females. The per capita income
