 granted a two-year unrestricted gaming license to Speedway to operate the casino and approved American Wagering to operate the Speedway sports book as well as several others.

On February 9, 2007 entered a purchase agreement with Ganaste to acquire the complex for $11.4 million. The deal was completed on June 1, 2008 for $18.2 million.

On June 9, 2008, the casino was closed for less than two weeks in the aftermath of a fire that destroyed critical equipment.
