SpangFract is one of the few deep fractal generators available for the Macintosh platform. The program currently comes with more than 100 available formulas. It is capable of escape, orbit-trap, and "dust" fractals. It features the ability to create or combine other formulas and coloring methods. Colors may be taken from photos or movies.
The current version Spangfract xTel (intel Macs only) which is compatible on Mac OS X 10.3 and higher including Mac Os X 10.5. Older versions are available that are compatible back to Mac OS 8
