The band program at South Fork consists of several groups including the Spirit and Pride Marching Band, The Symphonic Winds Ensemble, Concert Band and The Jazz band. The Marching band performs at every home football game as well as some of the close away games. They also participate in roughly 4 major competitions per year. The Spirit and Pride is home to the schools most prestigious students. Many students in the band participate in varsity letter sports. One student has previously played on the Varsity Football squad as a starter for three years (2004, 2005, 2006) and marched the halftime show sporting his football uniform. The current band director is Paul L. Marcucci. Marcucci was preceded by Philip Obado.
