Biography

The original lineup - keyboardist Joe Dell, guitarist Matt Schwarz, drummer Frank Melick, and bassist Dan Castiel - released a self-titled EP in 2000 and a full-length CD ("Goin' Over") in 2004. The rhythm section had left by the time "Goin' Over" was released and the band spent several years performing as an acoustic duet, focusing on piano/flute/vocal and acoustic guitar/organ/vocal artistic songs. They then recruited versatile drummer Gary Rinaldi and a host of session musicians for their next project "Legend", which would include a mix of acoustic and heavy rock material written over the course of the band's career. This was preceded by a release of metal-leaning alternate versions entitled "The Lazarus Project" in 2008, which also contained six instrumentals recorded by Joe Dell's previous project Spectrum Green. 2010 saw the final release of "Legend" - a 2-hr double-disc set engineered by Bob Both

Their infamous live show consisted of many theatrical elements such as Frank Melick's flaming drumstick solo, Joe Dell's smoking keyboards, and their Headless Horseman mascot.
