3A switch
As of 2007, Sitka high school has made the decision to move from 4A to a 3A school because of a decrease in student enrollment over the previous decade. This will affect many activities and sports such as wrestling, basketball, cross-country, etc. The decision took effect in the 2008-09 school year.Notable alumni
