Career

After moving from Romania as a child, he studied at Yeshivat Chaim Berlin in New York under Rabbi Yitzchok Hutner

, as well as learning under Rav Soloveitchik. He was a close student of the Rav, and wrote recently an essay in the Tradition magazine, entitled 'The Rav on Zionism, Universalism and Feminism'. He lectured in political science at a number of colleges.
He was a Rabbi of the Young Israel Hillcrest community in St, Louis for many years, and also taught at Yeshiva University in New York.
He became president of the Religious Zionists of America, before making aliya in 2005.

He now teaches at Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi in Jerusalem.
