The cover artwork on the album features a number of images of people with their skin coloured blue and covered with what looks like computer circuitry.

Though the album was highly acclaimed by critics, it didn't sell as well as projected. The reason for this could have been because it was released just a week before Iron Maiden's Brave New World.
