Sierra Atlantic, Inc. is an IT services company operating in the offshoring enterprise applications and outsourced product development space.

With operations spread across 20 countries, Sierra Atlantic is headquartered in Fremont, California, and has offshore development centers in Hyderabad, India, and Guangzhou, China.

Across its global offices and development centers, Sierra Atlantic employs over 2000 employees as on October 24, 2008.

In December 2007, the company was named one of the top 20 Best Places to work in India. In 2008, it was named among the top 25 Best Places to work in India. In February 2008, it started its new 3000+ capacity Global Development Center in Hyderabad.

On Jan. 4, 2011 - Hitachi Consulting announced it has acquired Sierra Atlantic, a leader in offshore enterprise applications and outsourced product development with approximately 2500 employees in India, China and the US.
