Gameplay

Shred Nebula takes its inspiration from Asteroids and SubSpace. Like the aforementioned games, the game is a top down shooter in which the player can only shoot in the direction the ship is facing. The game features over 20 ships, each with its own unique speed, durability, and special attacks. In multiplayer, players can choose from a selection of 8 different ships. There are 40 stages in total, each of which will feature unique obstacles or traps.

Gameplay Modes

Shred Nebula will feature 3 unique gameplay modes:
  • Arcade Adventure: This is the main single player mode in Shred Nebula. The adventure will span 20+ levels of uncharted space (including secret levels).
  • Score Attack: In the single player mode, players will come face to face with endless waves of enemies with limited lives, though bonus lives can be won. A multiplayer mode is available in which more than one player cooperatively stave off the waves.
  • Multiplayer: There are Xbox Live multiplayer battled for up to 8 players) and offline modes for just 2.
