Seu Creysson is a character in the comedy group Casseta & Planeta
, who appears in their program on the Rede Globo
television network. He is portrayed by comedian Claudio Manoel. Seu Creysson is a satire of an exaggerated, working-class person. He is known for his toupée
; huge, taped-together glasses
; missing teeth; his red shirt; a pronounced beer gut; and above all, his speech: he has a strangely overcorrected vocabulary
(with forms like erradio "wrongily" instead of errado "wrong"), and he has a specific accent which has made him famous. An English approximation of a typical utterance: "Ladiesium and Gentlemenium, viewerists of Casseta et Planeta, are readingulating my wordifications on Wikipedical!"
The character's first appearance was news of him buying a ficticious business called Grupo Capivara (a contender of the show's Organizações Tabajara, who did commercials complaining about Tabajara's products) as it was entering bankruptcy
