In 1960, the school joined the Medicine, Pharmacy and Law schools of that city to found the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Nowadays, the Faculty of Engineering consists of four courses: Civil, Production and Eletrotecnic Engineering and Architecture.
