Sass began his career with Bell Labs

 and stayed with them for five years. After which he joined Intel in 1978. Sass then joined Applied Materials

 in 1980. Sass Somekh introduced many successful product lines at Applied Materials. After 23 years with Applied Materials, Sass joined Novellus as the President. He retired as President in Jan. 2007.

Saas Somekh holds more than 50 U.S. patents. In 1994 Sass received the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute’s SEMI
