. In a later interview with the Western Mail's Wales on Sunday edition, Edwards told how she felt “effectively sacked” after being replaced by the younger Owen.
Edwards' hobbies are theatre, music, concerts, cookery—she has a professional cooking diploma from La Petite Cuisine culinary school in London—painting, and the countryside, as her family have a farm in West Wales. She also enjoys golf, tennis, horseracing, and riding.
Sara is a the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed She is a supporter of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
scheme in Wales and has presented Gold Awards on behalf of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at St James' Palace. She is also involved with Cancer Research Wales, the British Heart Foundation
