Sanam Ranked as high as No. 4 in the ITF junior rankings. Played all four junior grand slams, Reached the round of 16 at the Junior Australian Open and Junior Wimbledon, 2005 Asian Closed Junior Championship and Asia/Oceana Closed Championship singles champion. In summer of 2007, reached the quarterfinals of a Futures Circuit event in India, defeating a four-time NCAA singles participant at the event.
