Samir Barua

Professor Samir Kumar Barua is the 10th director of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and succeeds Bakul Dholakia as head of India's premiere management research institution.

Barua joined the IIMA as an associate professor in 1983 and became a professor in 1986. He is chairperson of the postgraduate programme in the IIMA. He is a member of visiting faculty at various academic institutions in the United States
