Sakaryaspor is a Turkish
football (soccer)
club, formed in 1965 after the merger Yıldırımspor, Idmanyurdu, Güneşspor and Ada Gençlik.
In the end of the 2005-2006 BANK ASYA League A football season, Sakaryaspor won a place in the play-off matches. After eliminating Istanbulspor in the first playoff match, Sakaryaspor went on to defeat Altay SK
4-1 in the finals and were promoted to the Turkcell Super League
. They were relegated from the Turkcell Super League
the following season. They were also old Second League champions in seasons of 1980-81 and 1986-87. Football club also nicknamed as "Football Factory" by the supporters. Sakaryaspor relegated to Second League
, which is third level of Turkish league once due to remained behind Samsunspor by dual average (1-3, 1-0).
