Sabri Godo is a politician, writer and screenwriter in Albania
. He was born on August 8, 1929 in Delvinë
. He did primary school in Delvinë
and then secondary school in Tirana
where he continued the latter left in the half in the third year where he participated in anti-fascist war, 15 July 1943 to in May 1945 when he returned from Yugoslavia. His father had to leave Albania together with his mother because they were politically prosecuted. He was active in journalism, especially the humor-satire magazine Hosteni, in which he has published over three thousand pages of writings under various pseudonyms. In January 1991 S. Godo established the Republican Party of Albania and was its chairman for seven years. Currently he is chairman of the National Assembly of this party. He has been a member of the Parliament in two legislatures, and has exercised the duty of the President of the Commission of Social Affairs and Foreign Policy.
