History

SAIFAM was founded in 1981 by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente as a studio called FACTORY SOUND STUDIO. It is the biggest recording studio in Italy. Soon after a few years of meeting new producers and artists, they released “Hey Hey Guy” by Ken Laszlo. This song became a huge success and several of copies were sold worldwide.

Through the 80s, more producers joined & SAIFAM expanded all over the world, like Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Farina & Crivellente were be credited for inventing the “Japanese High-Energy” style that is still popular today. In 1989, Farina & Crivellente were beginning to receive their first gold discs, and this success overflowed right into the 1990s.

In 1996, SAIFAM formed a record label & a few years later, it began acquiring some record labels including a few from Discomagic Records

. In 1998, Crivellente left SAIFAM & moved to Antibe Music. Today, SAIFAM is a big, fast moving vibrant company with great projects & and artists & owns 32 record labels & 6 studios.
