Forming the band

Dominic Scott

 took a break from music after leaving the band Keane in 2001 to do an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. Whilst staying at Goodenough College

 he composed and arranged rock songs with his friend and a classical composer Andrew Morgan. They were joined by Alistair Watson, a concert pianist and later by Benjamin Salmon to form the band "Babygrand." The first concert was in May 2006 at the Electroacoustic Club in London

 featuring an additional string quartet but line-up soon developed into a more standard rock form.

The original line-up had Alistair Watson on bass

 but this was changed to the current set-up in June 2007. Roundstone has mostly performed on the London circuit including the Dublin Castle and the Bar Fly in Camden
