Services by platform

Roma Street Station currently serves all suburban, interurban and long distance trains. The platforms at Brisbane's Roma Street Station are numbered from 2 to 10, with 2 being the easternmost platform and 10 being one of the westernmost. However during peak hour, some services may use different platforms from the ones listed below. The services which generally use each platform are listed below.
+ Note: Beenleigh, Cleveland and Gold Coast services depart from platform 6 whereas Airport, Doomben and Ferny Grove services depart from platform 7 during early mornings, late nights, weekends & public holidays.

* Note: Express services operate on most suburban lines during peak periods.

^ Note: Rosewood direct services normally operate during peak only, at other times, a change is required at Ipswich.
