. It is the second oldest town in Wake County
and one of the fastest growing towns in the State of North Carolina
for the past several years.
In 2012, Rolesville will be celebrating its 175th Anniversary. Rolesville was first incorporated on January 18, 1837 by the North Carolina Legislature.
The population was 3,112 at the 2009 census. As with surrounding Wake County, North Carolina

An estimate made by the town government, based on approved developments, projected the population to be 7,813 residents by 2010. In the town the population was spread out with 25.4% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 33.1% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 105.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.7 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $46,838, and the median income for a family was $57,813. Males had a median income of $41,932 versus $24,018 for females. The per capita income
