The Arena
The arena was designed to cope with the conditions of touring and the rigours of robotic combat. The stage is constructed from 24 separate floor panels with 2 layers of wood. The arena walls are built from steel box section and 5 mm steel plate to contain the most powerful robots. The rig and stage are modular to allow a variety of size combinations. The stage is surrounded by 6 mm Polycarbonate sheeting, allowing clear vision into the arena while sheltering the audience from flying debris.
