Robert Burwell Fulton

Robert Burwell Fulton was the Chancellor of the University of Mississippi
from 1892 to 1906. He was also President of the National Association of State Universities.
in 1849. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1869. He taught in Alabama and in New Orleans. In 1871, he became Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Ole Miss. By 1875, he was a full professor.
He served as President of the National Association of State Universities for five years.
His son was Maurice Garland Fulton
. He died in 1919.
