The growth of Touchline meant the company being named as one of South Africa’s Top 10 Non-Listed companies. Moore ended up MD of the Touchline, with a 50% shareholding. Over a few years he built the company from a one magazine business to a publishing house with eight titles, a thriving sports photo agency (later sold to Getty Images), Internet and TV productions. Moore sold his Touchline shares to Naspers for a very hefty amount worth millions in 1999.
