and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He has lectured both in the United States and Puerto Rico on contemporary topics in business and architecture. Mr. Alvarez-Diaz is the author of several published articles and was also section editor for the Institute of Classical Architecture’s annual magazine The Classicist.

He co-leads a foundation that established a yearly undergraduate student award for outstanding leadership at the University of Notre Dame’s School of Architecture in Indiana.
