Rialto is a suburb of Dublin's southside. It is located along the abandoned extension from the Grand Canal
to James Street
Basin which was once again built to serve the Guinness
Brewery.
Dublin's Rialto has also its own Rialto Bridge which spans over the abandoned Grand Canal extension. This abandoned canal extension is now used for the Luas
Red Line from Connolly Station to Tallaght
