He won 2 gold medal in Vietnam South East Asian Games in 2003 which made him the first Filipino diver to bring home gold medals. He also competed in the 2005 Manila SEA Games which he had 1 gold in synchronized 10m platform together with Kevin Kong and 1 silver in 10m individual platform. In 2007 he gained 1 gold medal in 10m platform synchronized with Jaime Asok in Thailand SEA Games and 1 silver for the 10m individual platform.

In 2009 he joined Laos SEA Games and finished with 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. He recently competed in the Guangzhou, China Asian Games but unfortunately he was not able to finish his dives due to a car accident that happened on their way to the Aquatics Center.
