Raveni is a village in Thesprotia

. It was the ancient city of Fanoti, part of the kingdom of Thesprotia. It lies on the foothills of the mountain of Mourgana, where many battles of the Greek civil war
took place after the Second World War. The village is more or less surrounded by the winding river Thyamis, which forms its delta
at the bay of Igoumenitsa.
Today Raveni is in the municipality of Filiates

Raveni is the birthplace of the famous Stathis family (formerly known as Mouratis) which descendants are currently major figures in Greece's economic and commercial life.
