Engineering

The Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, since its inception in 1983, has been consistently endeavoring to prepare its students to be dynamic leaders and iconoclastic stalwarts, to meet the ever-demanding needs of the industry. The institute offers an undergraduate as well as a post-graduate curriculum which includes a four-year bachelor of engineering in Computer, Electronics, Instrumentation, Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunication engineering and two-year masters degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering. There is a perfect amalgamation between all the departments, through they function independently. The courses are designed in a dynamic framework, to unleash the analytical skills of the students. They are relentlessly trained to be equipped with an intellectual and analytical bent of mind to meet the challenges of the future.

The department of Computer Engineering offers advanced courses like Digital Signal Processing, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks and Communication. All ten laboratories are adequately equipped and there is a central server room to fulfill the requirement of the undergraduate curriculum. The software, computer graphics, data structure, and image processing labs fulfill the quest for knowledge.

The Electronics Department was also established in 1983 and since then has been offering under- and post-graduate programs of four and two years respectively. The laboratories such as Electronics Devices, Electrical Machines, Microprocessors, Integrated Circuits, Digital and Switching are well equipped with high-tech equipment, aiming to provide practical training.

The Department of IT came into existence in 1999 to keep pace with developments in the IT sector. It offers courses like Image Processing, Computer vision, Artificial Intelligence. Well-equipped laboratories assists the teaching process.

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication was set up in 2000, with an intake of 60 students. The department houses adequately equipped laboratories such as Electric Devices, Digital Switching, Microwave Engineering, Communication and Advance Communication Engineering and Signal Processing.

The Department Instrumentation Engineering offers courses like Equipment Design, Analog and Digital control System. Laboratories for process Instrumentation, Analytical Instrumentation and Electronics Instrumentation are well designed for providing hands on experience to students.

All the departments can boast of highly qualified faculty equipped with post-graduate and doctorate degree from reputed institutions like IITs and NITs. Members of the faculty are highly committed teachers complimented with excellent teaching skills as well as research expertise.

The departments are also blessed with enthusiastic and brilliant students who have highlighted the institutes reputation by securing top positions in university, GATE, CAT, GMAT, TOEFL, GRE, etc.

All the five departments are in constant activity. Technical events are held under the auspices of technical societies like CSI, IEEE, IETE, and ISA. Students actively participate in technical and creative paper presentations, competitions on coding, quizzes, discussion, and other technical activities.

The departments relentlessly endeavour to upgrade and train its faculty to keep abreast of advances in technology through workshops, seminars and training programs. The Department of Electronics had recently organized a national seminar on DSP, VLSI and embedded system and wireless communication. Consultancy and sponsored projects are undertaken by the departments from MNCs, MIT, DST.

Industry–institute partnership is always encouraged. Testimony to this is constant interaction through regular visit to companies like RCF, Forbes Marshall, Total Honey Well and Fests Control. Final year B.E. projects undertaken by students are carried out in research institutes like BARC and IIT Mumbai.

Electronics Engineering

The Electronics Engineering Department was begun in 1983. Courses such as Electronic Circuits and Design, Microprocessors, Electronic Instrumentation, Analog Integrated Circuits, Digital Integrated Circuits, Signals and Systems, Wireless Communications, Wave Theory and Propagation, Filter Theory and Data Communication comprise the department's core curriculum.
