acquisitions. But in January 2009 after it was revealed that Satyam CEO Ramalinga Raju
falsified the company's accounts to the tune of over $1 billion, doubts have been raised once again about the valuation and acquisition of IndiaWorld. Indian stock exchange regulator SEBI is said to be investigating the matter. These doubts had been raised in 2000 as well.
Rajesh Jain attended St. Xavier's College from 1982 to 1984.
Rajesh Jain graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1988, and obtained his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University

Science and Technology for 2 years before returning to India in 1991. He founded Ravi Database, a consulting and image-processing company for medical and metallurgical needs, the following year, before plunging into the IndiaWorld venture.
Rajesh is currently building on his concept of the ‘Emergic Ecosystem’, a low cost innovation in computing.
