 (British Dragon Boat Racing Association) in 2006 as a sister team to Thames Dragons and the name was changed to Thames Raging Dragons. In 2008 Thames Raging Dragons gained promotion to the premier league. 2009 saw Raging Dragons break away from Thames Dragons under the sponsorship of Sun Lik beer. In 2010 Raging Dragons took "a notable second place in the premier 200m league breaking the hold of the regular faces", surpassing former sister team Thames Dragons to become the highest placed team in London
