Radio application

On March 16, 2011, Radio Humsafar applied to operate an ethnic radio station in Montreal

. If approved, the new station will operate on the AM frequency of 1400 kHz. This application is pending Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approval. On May 10, 2011, the application was withdrawn and will be rescheduled at a later date.
