The Queer as Folk soundtracks are the official musical accompaniment to the hit US TV show Queer as Folk (not to be confused with Queer as Folk (UK TV series)

Queer as Folk is a 1999 British television series that chronicles the lives of three gay men living in Manchester's gay village around Canal Street. Both Queer as Folk and Queer as Folk 2 were written by Russell T Davies...

, which has its own separate soundtracks). Five CDs were released overall, each one covering one of the 5 seasons. Each soundtrack featured the more prominent remixes from the show, with some songs not making it onto the soundtracks.
Each soundtrack consists solely of songs played in the various clubs during the series; the first season's soundtrack contains the opening theme used throughout the show.
