one thousand years ago and this tribe known in Dhofar as Qara tribes. Now there are 15 tribes grouped in the Dhofar mountains in three ranges (Smhan and Qamar mountains ranges, Qara mountains ranges).

Tribes

Qara tribes are Alamree, Al Mashanee, Alawaid, Jabob, Kashoob ,Tabook, Qatan, Said, Gajool, Gomah, Ali Essa, Shamas, Akaak, Hardan, and Bakee. Amer Hakli descended from the Arab famous tribe of Kindah.
