. The magazine can be bought in paper format or downloaded for free as a PDF file through the site with the same name. Nowadays 19 numbers of the regular issue and 6 "special issues" have been published, for a total of over 2000 pages.

Progetto Babele's principal goals are: the presentation of works of new authors, articles of literature, interviews and special features on well-known writers. A number of writers have been hosted so far, among which are Corrado Augias

Two sections are Traducendo Traducendo (Translating Translating), which often introduces renowned foreign authors still unpublished or of little fame in Italy, and Riscoperte (Rediscoveries), a section of facts and people of some relevance forgotten in Italian literature and music. In charge for this last section is Carlo Santulli.
Since 2007 is also available an audiobooks section, where it is possible to download dramatized versions of some of the short stories published on the magazine.
