Priory School has a Junior Section for pupils up to age 11, and a Senior Section for ages 11 to 18. The school also offers a number of extra-curricular activities. Prior to September 2010, the Senior school only offered education up to age 16 (GCSE 'O' level). The introduction of a Sixth Form (ages 16-18) has allowed the school to provide 'A' level education to students, and extended the scope of the Senior School significantly. The school's ethos is Christian without specific denominational links, but is open to students of any or no religion.

The report for 2010 stated that all issues raised in the 2009 report had been fully addressed by the school, and in 2010 was found to have made good progress and to fully satisfy all Ofsted requirements.
