. Until the end of the 2007–08 season III Liga referred to a league at the 3rd tier, although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. It's below II liga and above IV liga.

Groups

As of the 2010/11 season there are 8 different regional leagues that make up the III Liga tier. Each league covers two of the 16 Voivodeships of Poland
